EUROPEAN CUP LEADERS BRACED FOR BRNO

The third event of the 2020-2021 UIAA Ice Climbing season will take place in Brno, Czech Republic on Saturday 4 December. The lead only European Cup event follows on from two similar competitions in Bern and Zilina.

Women: 17 athletes from 11 countries are expected to compete. After two rounds the current European season leader is Finland’s Enni Bertling (123 points). Two of her nearest rivals, Olga Kosek (100) and Marianne van der Steen (96 points) will be in attendance.

Men: 43 athletes from 15 countries have registered. The current European season leader David Bouffard (143 points), Romania, will seek to extend his advantage over William Morris (120 points), Great Britain and Virgile Devin (112 points) of France.
