SHINE IN 2021

The final act of the UIAA Ice Climbing calendar for 2021 takes place this weekend in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

Following three rounds of European Cup action in Switzerland, Slovakia and last weekend in the Czech Republic, athletes are refinding form and rhythm following an intense competition programme.

Climbers from 13 countries are registered including Enni Bertling of Finland who leads the women’s overall rankings and Virgile Devin, the dominant European performer in the men’s competition. France, eight, has the most registrations ahead of the hosts with seven.

The full event programme and links to results can be found here.

A microsite created for the event can be found here.

Following the turn of the year, on the weekend of 14-16 January, UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup action returns in Cheongsong, South Korea.
