The UIAA is seeking candidates for the position of Chair, World Ice Climbing (WIC) Board, to take over ahead of the 2026-27 UIAA Ice Climbing World Tour. This is a voluntary role. Application should be supported by a UIAA member federation.

- Term: Four (4) years, with the option of reappointment for up to two further terms
- Nomination deadline: 2 October 2026
- Selection process: The WIC Board will review all applications and submit a recommendation to the UIAA Management Board, who will vote on the appointment
