The UIAA and FFCAM, la Fédération française des clubs alpins et de montagne, are organising the second annual UIAA Ice Climbing Stakeholders meeting – a two day workshop in July to shape the future direction of competition ice climbing.
To be held in Champagny-en-Vanoise, France from 6-7 July, 2024. It will bring together all of the sport’s stakeholders to discuss the future direction of the sport. Over the course of two days, activities will include athlete training sessions, discussions and specific workshops on topics like the new governance structure for ice climbing, routesetting, judging, federation development pathways. Champagny-en-Vanoise has been a popular hosting venue on the UIAA Ice Climbing World Tour for a number of years. Please refer to the provisional programme for further specifics.
All stakeholders – including athletes, officials, event organisers, national federation representatives, partners and sponsors – are invited to attend. To register your attendance please complete the following registration form. Attendees must cover their own travel and accommodation costs – details are in the registration form.
Notes – A minimum of 10 participants is required for the event to go ahead. Please confirm your attendance by completing the online registration and e-mailing – rob.adie@theuiaa.org to confirm you place by the 19th June, then the event will be confirmed. We recommend you wait to make travel arrangements until the event is confirmed.
